Despair
Despair
Hot wax dripping on your skin,
Afraid to move, afraid to scream,
Staring into nothing, while you skin
Boils and melts away.
Thoughts racing,
Birds singing,
But no one sees you,
No one hears you.
Your silent screams sear through sunshine filled happiness,
You’re stuck here screaming while the hot wax
of depression melts you into emptiness.
No more bubbly, buzzing bumblebees.
No more shining, sunny summer days.
No more fearless, fun loving friends.
The wax melts away your soul and replaces it,
With a numb zombie of your former self.
There is no escaping that empty, lonely, scary,
depressing feeling of mortifying despair
