One too many
I caught you cutting
And it wasnt the first time
You got plenty of scars on your arm
And so do I
Wishing one day
You wont wish to die
I remember the last time
You cut yourself
You said it felt good
But you couldnt stop the bleeding
I was holding your arm
As tight as I could
You had this look on your face
The look of defeat
I rode with you
All the way to the hospital
I never left your side
I watched your every move
And held on to you real tight
The doctors said that you were sick
And that you were schizophrenic
And I'm just one
Of your many characters.
