Peace
There is nothing around
But I’m not looking to be found.
I lay here on my board,
alone at last.
I move along the shoreline looking for a wave
But yet I’m happy lying in the brilliant rays.
My arms turn pink from the labor,
But somehow the pain is my savor.
I feel a rush from the peace
I never want to lose my crease.
Then I find my truest friend,
Underneath the water begins to bend.
I fly above the world below
This is one thing I really know.
No matter how hard things might be
A board and water truly set me free.
