Write
Write, my love,
Write until your heart no longer weeps
And your grief is but a thing of the past.
Write your heart is full
and your reservoir of words runs dry,
Even though it may take forever.
Write, my child
write
and read
and live
and love
and cry
then write some more
Write of sadness
Of love
Of anger
Of joy
Of happiness
Of fear and courage
Write of life
and death.
Write of dark
And light.
Lose yourself
In a world
Of your creation
Until the only way
To find your way home
Is to find the place
Where your story both ends and begins anew.
But you must not forget
To live
To love
To cry
To fear
And face those fears
For a life unlived is no better than no life at all.
But, oh,
You must always write.
Write my dear.
Write, and be free.
