Life is a Taxicab
Life is a taxicab, both yellow and black…
Yellow for all the happy and mellow times-
Yet black for all the sadness and darkness kept inside.
Both colors come together to form one running entity.
The taxicab travels to many places in its lifetime…
And makes many stops.
Many people enter then exit.
The driver is the brain of the cab,
Calculated every move and function.
The taxi may break down,
Or the driver may become weak and tired after a late night shift.
But, through all of the mess-ups and mishaps…
The cab must move on.
Duties must be fulfilled,
And the engine must keep running…
…Until it slowly dies out, and a new taxicab replaces it.
