How A Kiss Feels
Standing in the dimmed street light,
This is where we say goodbye.
Innocence in those big blue eyes,
I'm not usually this shy.
Hand in hand, you pull me in,
I'm falling through your sugared grin.
Remember back to where we've been?
Leave those problems out of those lips.
It's not long before you pull away.
Things this sweet can never stay.
We both know how easily we're frayed.
I hope you still remember those days.
Cause I still feel that soft sound
Even though you're not around.
I wish that night hadn't drowned,
But we couldn't be let down.
