Forlorn in the Depths
The darkness fills the void.
Damp air rests beyond the crevice.
No sound lives in the void
Save one drip forever ageless.
A rustling can be heard,
Vibrations of two bodies
For a long time hungered
And lost due to follies.
Their voices, they contend
Against that menace, silence.
For woe to him who ends
Alone in its emptiness.
