Insights and Insults
My best friend, my lover, my acquaintance
It was so cold in Colorado
When we first met
It lasted so long but there wasn’t enough time
It seems to glow the hope now
Midnight has come and cleared out yesterday
But this new start is not what I want
Cause forgetting the past might be treacherous
Harvest moon serving as a night light
I never could sleep with the illumination if electricity
Tell me now how many times
That flash of light will come
Cause I remember you at midnight
When everything was cold and
Everyone was still up
Don’t think cause this thinking has gone potent
The memory is haunting
And let it be know
That you have floated into the sweet abyss
