Beaches of Maine
The wind gently threads through my hair,
There is a sense of tranquility in the air,
The seagulls overhead start to crow,
The waves gently crawl up and tickle my toes,
The sun beams on my exposed forehead,
The feeling of warmth starts to spread,
The wind blows across my face,
Dancing across in its usual grace,
The Children off on the side,
Splashing and playing in the high tide,
Sandcastles rising majestically over the sandy dunes,
The birds around sing lovely tunes,
There are i lay on the sandy plains,
On the beaches of South Maine,
