Black and White
I know what is wrong and what is right
But sometimes I can’t separate Black from White
But it’s as if you pulled me from the darkness
And into the light
Really, Black or White?
There must be an in between
This feels so right
But it feels so wrong
When you can’t see
You are everything to me
I want to feel the emotions that are real
Everything is laid out for me to see
But this Black or White world can never comfort me
So I am breaking away to be free
Away from the emotional prison
And the ones holding me back
Maybe love stays in my dreams
I don’t know since I always sleep at ease
It’s just that my dreams seem so perfect
But reality I can touch and feel
Somehow though I know now that Black or White isn’t real
Black or White
Right or Wrong
There must be feelings
That cannot be described by either or
So I know now that
Happiness I can find
And the sadness seems to hide
Because I know now that you are mine
And it is like I am seeing you again for the very first time
You love me for me
The way I wanted love to be
And the direction this is going
I wouldn’t mind knowing
Black or White
Yeah right
So I keep my head up high
And pretend I can touch the sky
As if there is nothing I can’t do
When I’m with you
You mean so much more to me
Than I ever thought I could see
In someone unpredictably
Black and White
