Ponderings
Let’s consider
The color purple.
What comes to mind?
Eggplants.
E-g-g-p-l-a-n-t-s.
Indeed.
If an eggplant could make a sound,
Would it?
Just like
If A tree falls in a forest
And there is no one around to hear it
Does it make noise?
Oh, that’s easy, you might say
Of course it does
But really… the question is,
Does it?
Because if nobody heard it
Then there was no sound.
Right?
Wrong?
Ponder this for a moment.
What exactly are we?
Maybe we aren’t what we think.
Could we be just a fragment?
A piece of someone else’s dreams?
Or maybe
We are eggplants.
E-g-g-p-l-a-n-t-s.
And that would make us all
Purple.
