and we’re all in bloom
filling up green gardens

evil witches we’re colored with ivy-envy
casting gauzy spells that invite -

summer skies cotton clouds
weightless hopeful sparkling
we’re mermaids with aquamarine cotton candy hair who live
in blue plastic pools
the Little Sister innocence playing in cosmetic gardens
but then there’s always the -

Big Sister –
moody, lonely, lovely
indigo moon worshippers spinning dancing across
velvet soft silver sharp
nights
we’re utterly despairingly ever-so

the odd unwanted feelings
