My World
The beautiful trees
overhang and make shadows
in my other world.
Only i can see
the memories of the past
good, bad, broken, mine.
Spinning, whirling, round,
i feel a heartbeat,
i am still alive.
I’m in my own world
as i am in my own past
and he is still there.
My best friend ever
could never let me suffer,
as he let me down.
He left; and he’s gone
he’s left me here to suffer.
And he broke my heart.
I sit silently,
calm, cool, never-ending death
and i write my haiku.
