Voices
the voices in her head are real.
Or they were at some point anyway.
They hurt her and they help her.
The confuse her.
These voices are real.
They are ghosts
Ghosts of the past
the past that died so very long ago.
The same past that is present
in dreams...and nightmares
these voices are real.
Whether or not they exist.
They’re there.
As alive and well
as their owners are not.
Memories, painfull memories,
happy memories.
Happy as a remission,
a remission before a depression.
These voices are real.
They tell her what is what.
Even though they lie.
They lie just as she does,
to hide.
To hide.
To hide.
