Jane Doe
The world on her shoulders
Time conquers every breath
Looking away, lost
Living life with no assets
Stomach filled with emptiness
Heart filled with sorrow
Life lived from day to day
Not knowing what’s tomorrow
Growing up fast
In this place called society
Maturing quickly
Becoming a woman is reality
Body no longer bleeds
From her female love shell
It is occupied
By the secret she can’t tell
No one to hold her hand
Guide her down the path
So she walks the path alone
Listening to ridicule and laughs
Ridiculed since five
The age it all began
Causing her to be dependent
On a species called man
Man never loved her
All he did was abuse
