Flower
You walked the same path everyday.
Saw the same flowers all the time.
Whether it was in sun or in rain,
You saw those flowers all the time.
One day you looked at the most delicate.
You thought how vulnerable it was.
Your behavior was indifferent
You didn’t care how vulnerable it was.
You lifted it up from the ground.
And put it back all damaged.
Every time it rained the flower almost drowned.
Only God knows how it managed.
You took off its petals.
One by one.
Took away its beautifulness,
You were never done.
You took one off each day.
And you didn’t feel bad.
Finally one morning in May
You took a different path.
But that poor little flower was still there.
Trying to re-grow her petals.
But you went without a care
You didn’t pay attention.
That little flower, I saw,
Still fights even now.
I was in awe;
She stayed strong, but how?
