I am
I am a pianist,
I wonder why the music is so hard,
I hear the notes tunefully playing a song,
I see the black and white keys, there's so many,
I want to play better music, without messing up.
I am a singer,
I pretend I've signed my frist record deal,
I feel the adrenalin rush as I go onstage,
I worry my audience won't like me,
I cry if they think I'm not good.
I am an actress,
I understand I can't always get the role,
I say my lines with as much emotion as I I'm feeling,
I dream of winning Oscars for my lead roles,
I try to relax when I'm rigt there on stage,
I hope my career is successful,
I am me
