I'll leave as soon as the wind blows
and fall into the snow and melt away into the earth.
You never bend or sway, you simply let me fall.
I'll decompose and become the dirt at your roots
All the while your strength will keep you far away from me.
Even as the ice clings to your limbs you will stand strong.
As the winter months go on I become nothing but a memory.
But you know the warmth you once felt will soon be back.
The seasons change from white to green
A warm breeze gently blows and i make my way back to you.
