The Sky is Clearing
How could my words run dry
when stained in the brain
as an ever flowing river of tears
Nearly choked myself to death
silencing a voice of unexpressed
devasation.
Several stormy days of gray, now
rain has become a champanion
In due time the sun will shine
and the cloudy red within my eyes
will slowly dim clear.
I will be happy then, truly happy,
because he'll never hurt me again
cause he won't have control of me
Only God,
for I'll be warm in his arms again
