afraid
when I first met you,
I didn't know what to say.
I was afraid that you'd
turn the other way.
I was afraid to look
deep in your eyes,for
what you may have seen,
you wouldn't like.
I was afraid to keep
falling,for you may not
have been there to
catch me.
I was afraid to show
affection,for you
may have left me.
I was afraid to tell
you that I love you,
for I didn't want to play
another mind teasing game.
but I'm not afraid anymore.
I took a deep breath and
jumped into a world I never
knew,and you were there too.
