Fabled Love
I gaze at her, yet her beautiful eyes,
like Pomona, do not bring in my gaze.
I cannot continue to wallow in lies,
but I need her like a horse needs to graze.
Daughter of the Sun, Radiant beauty,
she looks so pretty while she poses.
Every time I admire this cutie,
my face turns red and florid as roses.
This girl has my heart locked away from me,
I cannot find it no matter how hard I look.
Daily with her, she keeps the lock and key,
Though she is in the pages of a book.
Falling in love with a drawing is quite,
enervating when you read it at night.
