I am all alone,
I don't know what's coming,
I hear all types of things that I don't want to,
I know life has planned many things for me,
I want to be prepared,
I can't live like this,
I feel as though there is no way out.

I am not strong,
I don't want to be hurt,
I keep telling myself that I am strong;
I know the real truth though,
I see all these people around me,
I wonder if they really are there.

I am a mess,
I can't keep up at times.

I am a person,
I see what's around me,
I study everything that happens,
I wonder what's going to happen to me,

I love these people that surrond me,
I could never live without them,
I know I look as though everything is going perfect at times,
I find myself lost a lot,
I never seem to find what I'm looking for.

I am a child of God,
I know that he is watching me,
I don't look to him as much as I should,
I usually find help in all the wrong places.
