Pain in My Heart

the pain in my heart
is what is tearing me apart
i hurt too much
bleeding in too many places
i hide it all with my smiles
all the forced laughs
you can't tell the fake from the real
only those close knew how i felt
but now i hide it from them
as they are the cause
i love them still
though the knife they hold
cuts deeper then most
love is what hurts the most
but is what keeps you going in the end
