A Fresh Start
The ground begins to break as the earth thaws out.
Warmer days coming are shown by the first sprout.
The river begins to rush, replenishing the green.
Days grow longer and the birds come back to sing.
Trees regain their lush and color.
Blossoms are now starting to get fuller.
The land is welcoming sunshine back around.
It is heating the air and feeding the ground.
Springtime is officially here.
I feel change, for it is near.
Just like the world brightens, life does too.
Now endless possibilities control what to do.
