Missing You
I think about you on the 17th,
but miss you every day.
I cry every time I walk the grounds,
where I know you flatly lay.
I see your picture every morning,
your eyes an endless blue.
No one knows why you did
what you thought you had to do.
I wish I could have helped,
but you felt so alone.
I miss hearing your name,
that I now read on this stone.
As I walk away from you,
I wipe the tears that I have cried,
and think about the time we'll meet,
a place beyond the sky!
