God Given Map
God put us in this world with a map.
But the thing that none may understand
That for as hard they try they cannot comprehend
For as I meander from place to place every sign,
Every signal seems to be so foreign
Lighten your spirits. God has not forsaken us.
He gave us the greatest gift, solidarity with one another
For though we may not be able to read our map
Our friends always seem to know.
So maybe i will be lost wandering this life from time to time
But i know that i have my true to look to when i am lost
The most complex legend will be deciphered by those closest.
So if i ever take a pit stop by you and show you my map.
I hope you have the patience to sit and read it to me.
