A Soldiers Grave
A soldier lay in a foreign land
This grim scene; His final stand
Minutes left, his mind does turn
To memories once faded, now brightly burn
Recollections of good and bad
His wife, kids, mom and dad
His biggest regret as he lets out a cry
They'll never get to say goodbye
Colors fade and lights grow dim
The reaper, it now comes for him
His brothers in arms, knowing what he gave
Send him now to a soldiers grave.
