New York
In second grade my family went to New York
We explored the large busy city.
What I remember most were the smells,
Sometimes unpleasant smells of the subway
Other times good smells of the local restaurants
The City was very busy.
It was at times over whelming,
With the sounds of car horns,
And the other various sounds of the city
The sights of the huge and towering skyscrapers
Made me feel mall and unimportant
This however was counteracted by
My Greatest memory of New York,
Standing on the roof of the World trade Center’s and looking down.
