lost
Lost
I was five I went for a walk,
Looking for shells, not paying attention, I didn’t know the cost,
Stopped to talk,
But soon realized that I was lost.
I didn’t know what to do,
I was so confused,
So I tried to find a clue,
But I wasn’t at all amused.
A life guard came to me,
Asking what was wrong,
All I could say while looking at the sea,
Was that I walked too long.
We looked for my hotel,
Tried to find our way,
Then we heard a yell,
It was my mom screaming, “hey!”
