What I Feel When I Write Poetry

I can feel the words
Words flowing through me
As I try to write them
They start to run and hide
My mind goes blank
I can’t finish a single sentence.
Then once I put the pencil down
They start to have a party
On my pencil and in my head
I don’t know how I finish this poem
Cause every time I pick up a pencil
My mind goes blank
