Autumn
As the sun kissed days of summer slowly fade away
And the cornflower yellow fields turn to a brilliant orange hue
There is a chill in the air to remind us that winter will soon come
So that we may be prepared for the first spit of snow
To land upon the bare boughs of the trees
But for now the sky is blue
And the beautiful colors of autumn
Red, Yellow, Brown, Orange, and Green
Continue to shine in the bright light of day
And we hope that the warmth of the fall weather may linger for just a little bit longer
