River of Life
You cannot hide from it, you cannot run from it, it’s your destiny, take control.
If you’re rushed along with the flow of the tide, you will never stand out except where you’re at your best.
If you swim where it’s easy, float where it’s hard. You will embarrass your maker.
You must fight where it’s hard and where it’s easy to become strong. Then you can make it back up the river and help others. But do not do all the work for them.
They need to swim on their own. Your job is to keep them away from the rocks that can break them. Break a man, a woman, a child.
Once far up the river of life is the spring of happiness and that unattainable goal is ours.
