Wolf

I run wild,My fur pure white like the clouds above. My home, my family, my freedom all in one domain. I am the wolf in both form and spirit. I stay hidden in the shadows yet i reveal myself to all.I race th eagle and the wind but I never tire. I am alive when I run all things forgotten. When i hunt I am over whelmed with joy as I chase down my pray. My den lays deep withing the forest, there with in is my brothers and sisters,my mother and father and the rest of my pack for those who I would gladly lay down my life for though I hardly ever show it.I shall never see the inside of a cage or the metal trap laid by a human for i am wild like the forest. I refuse to die by a mere human for I am a huntress, I am a tracker, I am a wolf.

My name is Erika. I'm fifteen and I hoped you liked my poem. It was inspired by my dog Nikkiea who's part German Shepered, part Husky, and part wolf.
