The lies that keep me coming back
My eyes shut tight; I pray that when they open all is well.
I still get nothing so I try again hoping to escape this painful hell.
My own reflection mocks me, for the fool that I have been.
Dropping my guard, daring to love and my heart is missing once again.
Your crooked smile that once saved me decays me yet again.
The only love I have ever really known has brought about my end.
Tearing away at what’s inside of me heartache and torment my new allies
It won’t let go of its control swallow me whole into this body of lies.
