Darkness lurking in the corner
Making you wish it was warmer
Shadows, night skies, and the creatures
Looking towards you like leechers.
Mocking, laughing all at you
Yet never getting through
That darkness in your heart
For darkness is the greatest foe
In stories and poems written by Poe
Thinking wandering all around
Thoughts going into the ground
This is darkness
It is not light
There is nothing out of sight
For darkness is all and nothing
Only fear, despair, and hatred shared
