We are together
And never apart
Life is so much better
In a poor man's dream
We can stand hand and hand
To face the rocky world
But together and whole we always land
In a poor man's dream
When my life is crashing down
And I just want to run
He takes away my saddened frown
In a poor man's dream
So as I'm standing here
In this dark hole of my life
I see him with her
And go home to dream
