I wrote this poem as a part of my poem packet in English class. It was a Direct Adress poem so I decided to write it to my cousin Juan because I never understood why he did what he did and what happend to him. I had 6 cousins die last year and he was one of them. I wrote it because I miss him so much. I hope that when you guys read it that you understand how I feel about it. When I read it out loud to my clas I would have to stop and keep going because I wanted to cry. The funny thing is that I never looked up until I was done and when I did people looked like they wanted to cry to. They clapped for a long time. I never thought that something like this could happen to me or my family but it did. It could happen to anyone. Now I'm telling my story to you.
