Neutrality
The Hormone Wars
Endless and utterly devastating
Terrible scars of infinite casualties
Battle cries echo above the din
“That b****” “She’s hot!” “What a jerk!”
Death glares, flirtatious glances, appraising stares
And yet, I’m standing outside the gladiator-worthy stadium
Looking through the windows at the battle raging within
Occasionally nursing a warrior back to health
Giving advice on strategy and tactics
But never following them back in to join the fray
I befriend all of these single-soldier armies
But I am immune, a neutral entity
Compatible with all and no conflict to call my own
I am the Switzerland of the Hormone Wars
