Don't Let Me Fall...
I live in a place where the April showers fall,
Where the sun never shines but the night never comes.
The trees don’t grow and flowers rarely bloom,
And everyone is just like me.
Confused and lost,
Or scared and angry,
In this sorrow-filled land
Of no night and day.
I’m reaching out now, take me from this place,
I need a hand to keep me from falling
Faster and faster, farther and farther,
Away from the place I need to be…
The April showers flow into hectic storms,
The thunder rolls and the lightning strikes.
Some one’s going home.
Another soul vanishes, to where? I don’t know.
Another quickly fills the void,
The storm passes, we continue on.
As some reach out, as some just fall.
Don’t let me be like them.
Don’t let me fall too deep,
I need a friend.
I can’t live another second
Feeling trapped and scared.
I don’t want to beg,
I don’t want to cry,
But please don’t leave me!
Don’t give up on me now…
I’m not dead yet,
I can still hold on.
Don’t let me fall farther into this black abyss,
I can’t be swallowed whole like this.
But I’ll be waiting, I’ll be right here,
Falling farther, losing life,
I just need to see the light one more time.
Don’t let me get lost.
I still love you so much…
