You Decide
In the middle of a freezing lake
On a sinking wooden raft
Unsure whether to proceed or start heading back
Cold water creeps to my toes
Ripples proove useless, misguiding me in which way to turn
The bright sun is obscured
By a giant lazy cloud
Blocking all light
Ankles now submerged
under the murky liquid
I hesistate once more
Shifting my weight back and forth
Unsure of the right choice
Before I can decide
A heavy gust of wind makes up my mind
And forces my raft below the surface
