Summer Friends We never see again
Its late,
we both know that.
How late though? I haven't got a clue.
the last days of summer linger,
i haven't kept track of time since it started.
The night air has a cool breeze,
the fireflies are flickering around us
we savor these nights where we can just take it all in, but this night is bitter-sweet.
Were both sad that I'm leaving tomorrow,
I will always treasure this summer with you.
From the good times
when you taught me how to skim board
To the bad,
we won't mention those.
Wishing on shooting stars
and forgetting about our separate worlds.
We were always together and together was enough.
