Six Feet Over the Stars and Can’t Come Back
I cannot stop looking at the stars,
Counting, watching, and waiting,
Hoping to break thought these bars,
Even though its time I’m hating.
It’s pulling forward and moving on,
But my mind is stuck in these dreams,
Soon my time will be long gone,
It is just as bad as it seems.
It’s nothing but another dream,
Oh a beautiful scene of my world,
Where the stars always beam,
And my thoughts are twirled.
But I must let go,
I must move on,
I need time to grow,
I have to have a dawn.
Though the stars are so bright,
On this beautiful starry night,
Maybe one more dream,
Just one more beautiful thought…
