No more Joe
I don’t have the strength
To go see if the tubes have been removed,
Or if more have been added.
I cannot even smile.
Such a dramatic weight lose,
And no hair.
My heart collapses under
what seems to be the weight of the world.
Memories…
No more dollar bills when I hug him
No more “I’m your second daddy” talks
No more overprotective question games
He played with me and my boyfriend.
No one to take my dads place.
No more...
No more Joe
