They try to tell me how to feel
And who it is I should be
They try to tell me I can’t love you
Because they can not see
That no matter what they tell me
My heart belongs to you
And that will never change
Regardless of what they do
Cause for once I found happiness
In my very own way
And I finally see I can speak my mind
Not just repeat what they say.
