The Horse, the Sun, and the Night
The horse flies away on wings
Such a feeling of freedom it brings
The grass the bright color of fire
But the air is cool from Jack Frost’s ire
The grass barely brushed
This beautiful sight missed by those who are rushed
The sky is alive with the cool colors of night
Fast approaching night, coming against my will and might
The pulled-thin cotton clouds, wisps in the sky
Shall disappear by and by
But whenever the stress of the day makes me need to get away
I just look and see this sight
The horse, the sun, and the night
