My Concience
I regret to inform you that you are not who you are trying to be.
you cower from your past,
cringing like and abused puppy.
you won't release yourself,
you try to forget everything you don't like,
now it feels as if those parts were just a dream/
a nightmare that will fade
I regret to inform you that these moments will never fully fade.
you will have to accept them,
relish them,
swallow them whole,
you can't just spit them onto the floor,
they are what nourishes you and this nourishment allows you to survive.
without you nothing matters.
