soundlessly unawares
in the somber summers
in a sea of sticks
sticks of beams
beams of wood
wooden beams of frames
frames of hoses
frames of business
frames of a life
that had long since passed away
the silent city
sits
sits beneath the stares
stares upon the snares
the snares of damp debris
the silent city
