Why?

Why on earth would you ever ask why?
By asking why what would you gain?
They’d probably think you were a pain.
Would you know if the answer was a lie?
Do you need to know or you’d die?
Well then you’d really be insane.
Trying to find an answer in vain.
The not understanding makes you cry.
Some will tell you ignorance is bliss.
Be thought a fool not speak prove them right.
These choices aren’t good enough for me.
I would have been extremely remiss,
if I want to be thought of as a bright one.
There is more to me than what they see.
