The Pain
The blood was running down her arm,
While she was forgetting the physical pain.
The blood was soft and feeling warm
As is was trickling out of her vain.
She remembers his eyes
They flashed with fire,
She remembers the lies
And his burning desire.
The bruises and scars
The blows still coming.
She starts to see stars
Her face is numbing.
She felt so used
The pain was still there.
Her face was so bruised
It was too much to bear.
She felt him around every corner
Her mind seeing an attack.
Her mind was torn within her
There was only One who could protect her.
