Black/White?
She's always feeling lonely
Always feeling gray
Trying to do what people say
Always having to obey
All she does is dream
Of a rainbow dark and bright
Where everyone is equal
Every day and night
She wants the world to taste like candy
With chocolate covered rain
That can make everyone satisfied
And that can wash away the pain
She wants an imaginary friend
To talk to every day
So that maybe both together
Can dream up a better day
She wants a gray colored shovel
To dig out all the hate
But she fears she's waited too long
And now it's just too late
She just wants to be free
She wants to see the light
She can't wait till the day
Where being black is just the same as being white
